Laura Kazmirowicz recognised as a Fellow of Fundraising Institute Australia
Royal Life Saving WA is proud to congratulate Laura Kazmirowicz on being recognised as a Fellow of Fundraising Institute Australasia (FIA), one of the highest honours awarded by the national body for professional fundraising in Australia.
This recognition reflects Laura’s outstanding contribution to the fundraising profession, her sustained leadership within the sector, and her deep commitment to supporting others to grow and succeed. Over more than 15 years in fundraising, including more than a decade with Royal Life Saving WA, Laura has built a reputation as an ethical, generous and highly respected leader whose influence extends well beyond Royal Life Saving.
As a long-standing FIA member, Laura has contributed significantly through committee service, conference participation, awards judging, mentoring and leadership development. She has served multiple terms on the WA State Committee and was elected Chair in 2024. She has also helped create opportunities for emerging fundraisers to connect, learn and build confidence in their careers. 
As Head of Philanthropy at Royal Life Saving WA, Laura is recognised not only for her professionalism and capability, but for the way she leads. She brings integrity, care and encouragement to her work, and actively supports those around her to develop and thrive. Through her leadership, Laura has helped strengthen Royal Life Saving WA’s fundraising initiatives, including the Swim and Survive Fund, which supports access to vital water safety education for children across Western Australia. Her contribution can be seen not only in the initiatives she has led, but in the people she has mentored and the culture of excellence and support she continues to foster.
Laura’s recognition as an FIA Fellow is a fitting acknowledgement of a career defined by leadership, service and meaningful contribution. Royal Life Saving WA congratulates Laura on this well-deserved honour and thanks her for the dedication, leadership and care she brings to her work each day.
