Kimberley Spirit Swimming & Lifesaving Carnival

HALLS CREEK AQUATIC & RECREATION CENTRE - Friday 24 Nov 2023

The Kimberley Spirit Swimming & Lifesaving Carnival invites school students in Years 5 and 6 to participate in a friendly competition and showcase their swimming and lifesaving skills.

The event features swimming and pool lifesaving events, with the emphasis on fun while developing swimming and water safety skills and knowledge.

This carnival gives Aboriginal children in the Kimberley an opportunity to participate in a carnival that builds on the success of the Swim for Fruit Program and Swim and Survive Program and gives children additional opportunities to practice their lifesaving skills in a fun and engaging environment.

Shire of Halls CreekTravel: We understand that many schools will have to travel great distances to participate in the carnival.  Please contact Catherine Buckley at (08) 9383 8200 to discuss reimbursement for travel expenses.

The Kimberley Spirit Swimming & Lifesaving Carnival is proudly supported by Lotterywest and the Shire of Halls Creek.
