Learn first aid for $130
This single-day first aid course has no prerequisites and is spit into two components. The online e-learning component allows you to learn at your own pace in the convenience of your home or workplace and takes approximately 3-8 hours to complete. This is followed by the practical in-class session and assessment of your first aid skills. (This course was previously known as Senior First Aid.) This is our most popular first aid course in Perth. Successful completion of this first aid training will result in the attainment of:
- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support
- HLTAID011 Provide first aid
This single-day training course has no prerequisites and provides educators and support staff working within an education and care setting with the knowledge and practical skills to provide first aid treatment and respond to a first aid emergency. Successful completion of this training course will result in the attainment of:
- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- HLTAID012 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting
This one-day course builds on the provide first aid and resuscitation courses by incorporating advanced first aid techniques, more advanced monitoring techniques, advanced resuscitation utilising oxygen equipment and use of a defibrillator. This course is suitable to workers who may be required to provide, coordinate and manage a first aid response across a range of complex situations, including community and workplace settings. Successful completion of this training course will result in the attainment of:
- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- HLTAID011 Provide first aid
- HLTAID014 Provide advanced first aid
This first aid session is designed specifically for kids aged between 8-14, and includes fun, interactive activities to teach children skills that will equip them to assist in an emergency situation anywhere, anytime.
The aim of the course is to enable students to learn through the completion of hands-on activities and games, which will give them an understanding of how they can respond in day-to-day situations they may face. The course will cover the areas of emergency response, calling an ambulance, CPR, bandaging for bleeds, and the use and make-up of a first aid kit.
