Drowning is a serious public health issue in Western Australia. For every child tragically lost to drowning, many more survive non-fatal incidents but face long-term health challenges. The Child Drowning Support Fund, offered by Royal Life Saving WA, provides vital financial assistance to families of children under 18 who have experienced non-fatal drowning, helping cover essential resources, recovery, and care costs to improve the child’s wellbeing.
