Supporting parents to learn lifesaving skills
Royal Life Saving WA believes that everyone should know the lifesaving skills of resuscitation and first aid. The Heart Beat Club course is designed for parents and carers of children under the age of five. The three-hour session covers child and infant CPR and first aid for common childhood injuries including choking, poisoning and burns.
Grants to deliver free Heart Beat Club sessions are available. These grants aim to provide free CPR training to parents who may otherwise miss out, and are supported by the Department of Health Western Australia.
