2025 Goldfields Spirit Swimming & Lifesaving Carnival

GOLDFIELDS OASIS RECREATION CENTRE

Wednesday 7th May 2025

The Goldfields Spirit Swimming & Lifesaving Carnival invites school students in Years 5 and 6 to participate in swimming and pool lifesaving events, with the emphasis on fun whilst developing swimming and water safety skills and knowledge.

This carnival gives Aboriginal children in the Goldfields an opportunity to participate in a carnival that builds on the success of the Swim for Fruit program and Swim & Survive program and gives children additional opportunities to practice their lifesaving skills in a fun and engaging environment.

Travel: We understand that many schools will have to travel great distances to participate in the carnival.  Please contact Catherine Buckley on (08) 9383 8200 to discuss accommodation options and reimbursement for travel expenses.

The Goldfields Spirit Carnival is proudly supported by Principal Community Partner BHP and the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

For all enquiries or to register your interest in the event, please contact Catherine Buckley on (08) 9383 8200 or via the form below.
