Our Women’s Only Multicultural Swim and Survive Programs offer culturally appropriate women’s only swimming lessons which allow women from different backgrounds to come together and take part in beginner and advanced swimming lessons and water safety classes.

When do the Women's Only programs run?
The Women's Only Swim and Survive programs are held during school terms, with daytime and evening lessons available depending on location.
How long are the lessons and program?
Classes run for one hour, once a week for eight weeks.

The Women's Only Swim and Survive program runs at various locations across Perth and WA:

- Cannington Leisureplex

What is the cost for the lessons?
It costs $65 for the 8 week term in the Metropolitan area and $50 for Regional areas. You do not need to pay for pool entry, just let reception know you are there for the Women's Only Swim and Survive Lessons. Please note there are no refunds if you are no longer able to attend.
How do I register for the Women's Only Swim and Survive classes?
Registrations must be completed online here.
Are the swimming pools public or private?
Cannington Leisureplex, Leisurepark Balga, South West Sports Centre and South Hedland Aquatic Centre are public facilities. The classes are strictly women's only with female instructors however, the facility is open to the general public. Waterponyz Wangara is a smaller, private purpose-built facility. During the women's only swimming lessons it is strictly women only in the facility. The door will be closed and blinds pulled down so members of the public cannot see the classes.
What if I can't make a lesson?
No worries at all! We will see you the following week. If you are unable to finish the term please call Royal Life Saving WA on 9383 8200 and speak with someone on the Swim and Survive team, or you can email us at accessandequity@royallifesavingwa.com.au so we can notify the swimming instructors. Please note there are no refunds.
