Royal Life Saving’s aquatic technical operations (pool operations) courses provide the knowledge and skills to safely manage water quality and pool plant operations. The SISSS00131 Aquatic Technical Operator skill set that is vital for the safe and successful operation of a swimming pool. The course enables industry participants to gain the skills and expertise needed to monitor and maintain aquatic facility equipment and pool water quality, and coordinate the maintenance of aquatic facility plant and equipment. This is the nationally recognised skill set is for those wishing to work as an Aquatic Technical Operator.
For the purposes of the Code of Practice for the Design, Construction, Operation, Management and Maintenance of Aquatic Facilities this training meets the requirements for Group 1, 2, 3 and 4 aquatic facilitites in WA.
