CPR is a skill for life. In most cases when an emergency occurs, a family member is the first on the scene. In fact, many children are alive today because their parents knew how to perform CPR and responded quickly.
Having the skills to react in an emergency situation can mean the difference between life and death while you wait for emergency care to arrive.
However, while we all know how important resuscitation is, did you know that CPR skills need to renewed and updated regularly?
Studies have shown that two months after doing your training, there is a 50% decrease in CPR skills.
After three years, only 2% of people can perform CPR effectively.
Effective CPR is a critical part of providing first aid and can mean the difference between life and death.
Our 2.5-hour CPR update course provides you with the skills and knowledge required to perform CPR on an infant, child and adult in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
It’s recommended that CPR certificates are updated every 12 months, not only to refresh your skills, but also to stay up-to-date with changes in the training.
