Help us create a nation free from drowning
Water is a symbol of our Western Australian identity, and swimming is a life skill for all.
But for many children access to swimming and water safety education is limited due to financial, medical or cultural barriers, making them extremely vulnerable to drowning.
That’s where our Swim and Survive Fund steps in. Supported by our incredible donors, it gives at-risk children across WA access to swimming lessons, tailored to their needs, at little to no cost.
The Swim and Survive Fund would not be possible without your generosity. Together, we can save lives.
Meet a Swim and Survive Fund family
Natalie and Kahn, parents of five young children, including four-year-old quadruplets, were determined to enrol their children in swimming lessons but faced significant financial and logistical barriers.
Their eldest child, Kiana, who is now six years old, has been able to participate in school-based swimming lessons, but the quadruplets are still too young to join.
Thanks to your support, they were able to access these essential lessons through the Swim and Survive Fund.
One of their daughters, Maddison, was initially fearful of the water. Today, she eagerly puts her head underwater and participates enthusiastically in lessons. Their journey highlights the profound impact that early swimming education can have on a child’s safety, confidence, and well-being. But there are still WA children missing out. We need your help to reach them.
With your support, we can help more families like Natalie and Kahn’s access this essential program. Please donate to the Swim and Survive Fund today and ensure no child misses out.
