CURRICULUM 2021 AND BEYOND
The Swim and Survive program underwent a comprehensive review during 2020 and as a result a new curriculum has been introduced for 2021 and beyond. We believe it’s important to continue to evaluate our programs and the outcomes for participants to ensure that Swim and Survive continues to be ‘best practise’ and relevant to our Partners and their customers. Although the review will continue to evolve, to date the review has resulted in:
- A more streamlined participation pathway
- Creative and fresh branding
- New and updated resources
- Greater support for our Partners
The curriculum provides a participation pathway from the Little Wonders to Levels 01 to Bronze Star with the option to continue to the iconic Bronze Medallion. We’ve provided Curriculum Charts to clearly present the learning outcomes for each level and across the strands, as well as the National Benchmarks.
